Optimization of Molecular Composition Distribution of Slurry Oil by Supercritical Fluid Extraction to Improve the Structure and Performance of Mesophase Pitch

The composition distribution of slurry oil has a significant impact on the structure and performance mesophase. In this study, supercritical fluid extraction (SFEO) components were extracted from two oils (SLOs) using (SFE) technique. fundamental properties SLOs associated SFEOs thoroughly investigated. Electron microscopy spectroscopic techniques employed to study morphology structures mesophase pitch produced by carbonizing their under same conditions. findings revealed that, compared SLO–LH, SLO–SH higher proportion 4–5 aromatic rings narrower hydrocarbon range. O1, N1, N1O1 molecules with long side chains poor flatness make up majority heterocyclic hydrocarbons. CH compounds can be narrowed efficiently separate various heteroatom-containing condensation degree. After extraction, content, texture distribution, graphitization degree improved. Polycyclic hydrocarbons high planarity help polymer macromolecules stick together build in an orderly way. Heterocyclic low planarity, other hand, play important role formation mosaic structures.
